Our Favorite Holiday Recipe:
I love making Monkey Bread on Christmas morning. My kids think it's the greatest treat ever, and it doesn't need any supervision, so we can open presents while it's baking! Here's how we do it:
The Night Before: Open 2 cans of refrigerated biscuits and cut each biscuit in to 4 pieces. In a large zip top storage bag, mix about 1/3 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. Add biscuits to bag, let the kiddos shake it up, and place in the refrigerator until morning.
In The Morning: Dump coated biscuit pieces into a loaf or cake pan. Melt 5 tbsp butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute, then pour over biscuits. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes, and voila!
